Version 1.3 (Experimental Android support)


Testing Android support! It's the same game, just with slightly larger UI elements so that clicking buttons isn't a precision challenge. There are a few issues I'm aware of and will investigate after moving the project to Godot 4:

– save thumbnails don't work

– transitions are laggy on low-end devices (will be fixed by multithreaded asset loading)

Let me know if there's something else, like if it makes your phone explode or something. (Nothing new for desktop users, just implemented some debug stuff for testing the mobile UI.)

hey! tl;dr is that a release isn't anywhere close; a lot of writing and engine work has been done, but nearly nothing on the asset front yet. i'm thinking of posting a more substantial status update sometime in the coming months, after a cool thing i've been working on with the project's new background artist is finished

hey! i have made a lot of progress on writing & finishing the engine and game-specific features, still need to build a proper art team and get a lot of assets done. since translating and editing are such huge timesinks, i'd like to have at least the first third of every route written in Finnish & ready for translation before starting to push out builds of the main game.  i'll post a more detailed status summary here at some point, but it's coming along!
